“…lying with numbers..” sounds like an accusation and in general, I don’t like to engage with people who accuse me of lying.

Finally, give Palestinians some credit - Yassir Ararat’s rejection of the two state solution was justified because they were giving them pieces of East Jerusalem while the Palestinians wanted all of it. Moreover, Israel was unwilling to return Palestinian homes and lands it had stolen during previous conflicts. Imagine Germany inviting Jews back home after ww2 but telling them that they wouldn’t get back the homes the nazis had stolen from them.
In other words, Palestinians made exactly the choice anyone else in their place would have made.
